END OF YEAR FORECAST TO BE ‘WET’ BUT WITH MILD TEMPERATURES

According to the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA), “in the last days of this year, the weather in the archipelago of Madeira will be conditioned by an anticyclone, located east of the Azores, traveling to the northeast and intensifying on the Bay of Biscay. ”
According to the IPMA, on December 31st, it will be mostly cloudy, with periods of rain until the end of the morning of January 1, 2019, with the south quadrant wind on December 31 and January 1.
As for temperature, the thermometers should vary between 17 and 20ºC of maximum being the minimum with values between 13 and 16ºC.
