The Christmas Market of Porto Santo opened this evening and was attended by Paula Cabaço, regional secretary of Tourism and Culture and the president of the local authority, Idalino Vasconcelos.
Paula Cabaço, who at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday at the Parish Mass in the Church of Our Lady of Mercy, highlighted the importance of the market for the enrichment and affirmation of the Porto Santo destination.
The governor also highlights the contribution of the initiative in boosting the local economy “and, of course, in the celebration of these festivities in an environment that is unique and that sets us apart from others.”
