The Regional Government, through the Regional Health Service (SESARAM), today signed a protocol of cooperation with the Santacruzense Association of Taxis in order to ensure the non-urgent transportation of patients to consultations, examinations and treatments.
The signing of this partnership took place in the House of the People of Santa Cruz, in the presence of the Regional Secretary for Health, who at the time said he did not see this initiative as a “protocol” but rather “as another measure to respond to our population” .
A greater “humanization” of the services provided by SESARAM to its patients, as defined by Pedro Ramos, and that will also result in a greater streamlining of procedures and optimization.
It should be noted that last year alone, SESARAM provided 128,605 patient transports, with an additional 8,109 transports registered in the previous year, with a daily average of 352 patient transports.
