The church of the Jesuit College in Funchal today filled with spectators to watch the ‘Concert for Peace’ performed by a group of international musicians.
The show, whose mission was to provide “a melodic journey that has the depth and power to bring the spectators to feel peace and inner harmony,” said the performance of Alap and Lukas – flute, duduk and percussion, cellist Shamita, from Vienna Symphony Orchestra and the group Onennes Dream Choir used to make concerts in churches around the world and this afternoon, dressed in white in an allusion to peace.
With the intimate setting in the beautiful church of the college, the concert brought together dozens of people in an environment of great tranquility and serenity.
