Wizz Air UK starts its first connection to Madeira today (Tuesday), as was announced on 26th November.
The British airline of the Wizz Air group will fly twice a week from London – Luton to Madeira, on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
On this occasion, Madeira Airport will provide the aircraft with a traditional bath, the usual moment in the airport environment when a new airline company enters or a new route to an airport.
Wizz Air is a low-cost carrier based at Budapest Airport, which uses predominantly secondary airports and is continually looking for opportunities to expand its network of destinations and offer low-cost air transport to and from Central and Eastern Europe. This company already operates for the national airports of Lisbon, Porto and Faro.
