In a press conference today, Ryanair announced the creation of an operational base in Funchal airport, with 10 new connections between Madeira and Mainland Portugal, Ireland, UK, Belgium, France, Italy and Germany!
According with DN Madeira, operations are scheduled to start in late March and will involve an investment of 200 million Euros and 60 direct jobs.
