A situation considered fundamental for the island, by the president of the Autarchy, Idalino Vasconcelos. The mayor, who this morning gathered representatives from all the schools of the island, recalled that an application for the UNESCO Buosphere Reserve is under way and asked all the people of Porto Santo to continue to do their best to have that island environmental quality of excellence.
